Prof. Abruña has been selected as the winner of the Electrochimica Acta Gold Medal, in recognition of his sustained excellent multidisciplinary studies of electrochemical phenomena using innovative combinations of electrochemical, SECM, differential electrochemical mass spectrometry and X-ray techniques.
